Mrs. Yanke and Mrs. Laturnus' classes did a big garbage clean up around Huntsville this month. The 3/4 and 4/5 students are doing a project / competition on biodegradable and recyclable materials. Together the groups collected 13 bags of garbage from around the school grounds! Soon they will sort the contents of the bags into biodegradable and recyclable materials. This is a part of a shared project students are working on in 3/4 and 4/5 to reduce waste on our planet.
